Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Beta Is On Its Way

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to release on November 10, 2023, on various platforms such as PC via Battle.net and Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. However, fans can get their hands on the multiplayer portion of the game earlier through the beta planned by Activision. The beta will be available from October 6, and it will feature 16 core multiplayer maps set for Modern Warfare 3’s launch. During the opening weekend, the beta will feature four maps, namely Rust, Favela, Estate, and Skidrow, with Highrise joining on October 12. The beta release is staggered, and the exact timings have been announced. Early access for the beta is available for those who pre-order on PlayStation before being available to all. The beta release timings are as follows:

  • Early Access PlayStation (pre-order): Oct 6 at 6 pm BST / 10 am PT / 1 pm ET until Oct 8 at 6 pm BST / 10 am PT / 1 pm ET

The beta release dates and timings vary depending on the platform, and it is essential to check the timings for the respective platform to jump in early. The beta is free and open to everyone, but pre-ordering the game will give early access to the beta. However, beta progress does not carry over to the full launch. Activision has released a first proper look at Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer, which leans heavily on nostalgia for classic maps and returning mechanics, such as map voting, the classic minimap, and slide cancelling. Activision will reveal more about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and battle royale Warzone 2.0 during its COD Next event, which kicks off on October 5. However, the show will not feature the DMZ mode
