A Truly Open AdventureÂ
It’s time to step into a journey that is far from written in stone. In fact, this story has yet to be written at all and every choice falls to you. Today, the indie publishing label HOOK and developer Shieldbearer Studios are happy to announce that their low-poly RPG, The Bloodline, is coming to Steam Early Access. Introducing players to a sandbox world, the game allows players to explore this vast world and make their own destinies. A press release provides more details on the game itself. Additionally, a new trailer gives players a glimpse of the game and its world.Â
The Bloodline introduces players to the fantasy land of Eudros. This land is vast and full of adventure. However, it is up to the player to decide what will become of them. The game allows players to truly have freedom, deciding how they wish to go about their adventure. Of course, there are many citizens within the land with quests for you to complete. Yet, players don’t need to help anyone and can, instead, wait for opportunities to arise naturally. Additionally, players can join different guilds, craft gadgets and equipment, hunt magical creatures, become a traveling bard, and more. Everything players do has a level attached to it, and with more than 500 skills to unlock players can truly experiment with who they want to be. Of course, having hundreds of different weapons and armor helps too, at least aesthetically.Â
