Unleash Violence
Players can soon descend into the violent dystopia of Megacity S1-9. Become a furious devil seeking vengeance on a false god. In this adventure, violence is the question and the answer is yes. Today, Ziggurat Interactive is excited to announce the release date for their upcoming hack-and-slash Metroidvania, Slave Zero X. Releasing February 21st, 2024, the game invites players to a platformer chock full of violence and action. A press release provides more details about the game. Additionally, a release date announcement trailer gives players an important look at what’s to come.
Slave Zero X invites players back to the world of 1999’s Slave Zero, to step foot in a dystopian urban setting under the tyrannical rule of SovKhan. Players take on the role of protagonist, Shou, as they merge with a stolen Slave unit prototype. Together, Shou and the suit wage a brutal war against the ruler of Megacity S1-9. Of course, as the pair, players will learn to string together brutal and effective combos as they run and slash their way through hordes of genetically altered enemies. Importantly, players will need to learn to use more than just their blade as they put an ordinance of explosives to use.
