The game will launch on 26 January 2024 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Moreover, you can pre-order it now digitally from Sega’s official website.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is an upcoming action role-playing game. It is the ninth main installment in the Like a Dragon series, formerly known as Yakuza. It also serves as a sequel to Like a Dragon (2020) and features the return of protagonist Kazuma Kiryu along with the current series protagonist Ichiban Kasuga.
The story takes place in two distinct locations: Yokohama, Japan, and Hawaii, United States. It will explore themes of wealth, greed, and the nature of power. And we will get to see a new cast of characters, including a mysterious new villain.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will retain the turn-based combat system introduced in Like a Dragon, with some enhancements and new features. Players can assemble a team of party members from a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique abilities. Players can also summon various objects and creatures to their aid in battle, such as baseball bats, traffic cones, and even tigers.
