Today, Big Moxi Games has announced a 2024 release date for their upcoming top-down shooter, Wardens Rising. Combining elements of base defense, PVE, and RPG elements the game aims to provide players with a unique co-op experience. A press release dives into more of the details on the game itself. Wardens Rising invites players into a battle for mankind. Taking on the role of the titular of Wardens players will form squads to defend energy cores against seemingly endless hordes of enemies. Importantly, each Warden comes with their own specific abilities, powers, and customizable loadout so that players are able to fully discover what playstyle best fits them. Additionally, players won’t only need to rely on themselves and their squadmates. The game features tactical mid-fight positioning of base defenses including traps, towers, walls, portals, and more.Â
