Drums in the Deep of Moria
The War of the Ring is over. The Fourth Age of Middle Earth has begun, yet threats still linger in the dark places. It’s up to you to venture into such places and reclaim the Dwarven homeland of Moria. Today, developer Free Range Games and publisher North Beach Games are excited to announce the release date for their upcoming adventure game, The Lord of the Rings: Return To Moria. Releasing on October 24th, the game thrusts players back into the world of J.R.R Tolkien’s Lord of The Rings long after the events of the books. A press release provides details on the contents of the game. Additionally, players can check out the gameplay trailer from Gamesfest.
The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria invites players to enter a survival adventure experience. Set in Middle Earth, players will create their own Dwarf and delve back into the Mines of Moria on a task from Gimli himself. Alone, or with a party, players will venture into the depths over and over, facing various challenges including Orcs, goblins, and more.
Of course, as players venture into these depths, seeing iconic locations like the Bridge of Khazad-dûm, they will need to arm themselves. Importantly, players will be able to craft what they need. They are Dwarves after all. For instance, players will be able to craft weapons, armor, artifacts, and more. Yet, it’s teamwork that will keep them alive. Check out the gameplay trailer for a glimpse of Moria.
The Lord of The Rings: Return to Moria is set to release for Xbox PlayStation and PC on October 24th.
