Overwatch 2 Reveals Hacker Called “The Enigma”…

This news definitely brings new meaning to the Unexpected John Cena meme. Leading up to the Invasion Story Missions, the Overwatch 2 team has been collaborating with popular players and streamers. These streamers would get “hacked” by a hacker called The Enigma. Now, The Enigma has revealed himself.

The Enigma has sent out a call to all heroes that Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, and Gothenburg are under attack. These maps will be the the focus of the Invasion Story Missions, the scaled back PvE campaigns that Overwatch 2 initially was made for.

With so much mystery behind The Enigma, it is unclear exactly the scope of this character. Will The Enigma be a playable character? Will John Cena be featured beyond this series of missions? Does John Cena exist in the Overwatch world as himself as The Enigma? So many questions need answering.

To access the Invasion Story Missions, you will need to buy the Overwatch 2: Invasion Bundle. Players with this bundle will also get 1,000 Overwatch Coins, a new Sojourn Legendary skin, and permanently unlock Sojourn for new players. Sojourn, like other characters, would normally have to be unlocked by completing challenges.

The Ultimate Invasion Bundle includes all of the above, plus an additional 1,000 Coins, Legendary Skins for Cassidy and Kiriko, and the Null Sector Premium Battle Pass with 20 skips. Overwatch 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
