Fate/Samurai Remnant Trailer Shows Off Gameplay Features

Hire a Samurai

Late next month, Omega Force‘s new game Fate/Samurai Remnant will be launching on PC and select consoles. The Fate/ series is exploring Edo Period Japan in this samurai RPG. The new trailer shows off some of the gameplay and mini-game features. There is also a crash course in the story, but without context, it is wildly confusing.

Players control Iori Miyamoto, a swordsman’s apprentice. After the death of his master, he discovers a strange mark on his hand, propelling him into an adventure and battle over the Waxing Moon. Iori learns that he is a Master, who can fight for the Waxing Moon. Masters also have Servants, who are Heroic Spirit companions.

Fate/Samurai Remnant

While the core gameplay of Fate/Samurai Remnant is combat, there are several side quest and mini-games to take part in. The trailer shows a weapon customization feature, as well as an upgradeable workshop. Iori also does odd jobs, such as wood-carving.

For fans of the Fate/ series, you can pre-order a couple of different editions. There is a physical Treasure Box Edition, which comes with a poster, artbook, soundtrack, a short story, and Command Spell stickers. The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with digital versions of the artbook and soundtrack, as well as the DLC season pass.

Fate/Samurai Remnant will be coming out on September 29th for PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
