Expansions always bring a load of new content to their base game. Of course, this often means that the expansion will bring a whole new way to play the game. Today, CD PROJEKT RED is excited to give players a showcase of the upcoming expansion for their narrative-driven RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. The expansion, titled Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, introduces players to a whole new take on the Cyberpunk story that transitions the game from action adventure to spy-thriller. Importantly, the new trailer gives players insight into the multiple new ways to play the game. Additionally, a press release provides more information on the game’s expansion.Â
Phantom Liberty reintroduces players to the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Of course, players take on the mantle of cybernetic mercenary, V, once again only this time they find themselves in a world of spies. In addition to a whole new storyline to follow, players will also be introduced to entirely new ways to play the game. For instance, players can look forward to brand-new perks, gameplay options, takedowns, a new location in Dogtown, clothing, weapons, and more. Furthermore, players can also expect to experience a completely overhauled perk system, changes to enemy combat AI, police AI, vehicle combat, and more.Â
