Ashen Knights: One Passage Coming to Steam on August 17th

The Start of the Beginning 

The world of Ashen Knights is preparing for its first foray into battle. Of course, any good story has a backstory. Now, players can get their first glimpse of the heroes of the game Primos and Evelin. Today, Baykal Arts is excited to announce the release date for the free prologue of their game Ashen Knights: One Passage. Releasing on August 17th for PC, the prologue allows players to explore three large levels and get introduced to the gameplay. A press release discusses the game and its story. Additionally, a prologue trailer gives players a look at the story and gameplay of the game itself. 

Ashen Knights: One Passage takes place in the same world as the main game. Darkness threatens to consume every scrap of light left in the world. As such, players must assume the role of the last bastions of the light. Importantly, players can play as two heroes each of which come with their own distinct playstyles that range from soulslike to hack-and-slash.  Primos, allows players to hack and slash their way through battles. While Evelin provides a more meditative souls-like style of gameplay. The prologue allows players to adventure through three different levels that provide a tutorial, a glorious battle as Primos, and a labyrinth-like mission full of challenging bosses and enemies as Evelin.
