It was a little over a year ago that Tribute Games released TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. The game received a free update late last year and now this month a new DLC has been announced. Dimensional Shellshock has no release date yet, but will be launching this year.
Dimensional Shellshock introduces a new game mode called Survival Mode. In this mode, your character will be completing wave-based combat challenges. You will be jumping from dimension to dimension collecting dimensional crystals. Enemies will drop crystal shards and when you collect enough, you move on to the next dimension where more powerful enemies await.
At the end of each fight, you can choose between two vials of ooze. Each of the vials will give your character an upgrade. Some will affect stats and power, whereas others will actually mutate your character into a villain. You can temporarily play as Shredder, Rocksteady, or Bebop.

This DLC also introduces a new character named Usagi. Usagi is a samurai rabbit joining forces with the Turtles. The developers of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge made Usagi to excel at aerial combat, so juggling enemies should be a bit easier.
Unfortunately, there is no official release date for Dimensional Shellshock. TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
