Draw Swords Defend the World
It’s almost time for the knights of consoles to don their armor, draw their swords, and do battle. In a mission of life and death, can you lead the way? Today, THQ Nordic is excited to show off the console edition of their squad-based RTS, The Valiant, in a new trailer. Allowing players to step into the role of a knight on a quest for justice, the game invites players to lead a band of knights on a quest to save the world. The Valiant introduces players to protagonist Theoderich von Akenburg. Theo is an ex-crusader who is driven to pick up his sword once again to stop a friend hell-bent on destruction. Chasing an ancient relic Theo’s friend threatens the end of the world. However, Theo won’t be working alone. As Theo, players will assemble a custom team of heroes to bring into battle. Importantly, each hero comes with their own skills and customizable equipment sets. Additionally, these heroes all belong to specific classes capable of handling different situations.Â

The Valiant is out now on PC via Steam. The game will be released for Xbox and PlayStation consoles on July 11th. So, will you lead these brave knights?Â
