It’s time to enter the end of the world and experience all the dangers that come with it. Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games have officially launched their new third-person shooter survival game, Remnant II. Available now on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, the game aims to elevate the survival shooter. Using mechanics unique to the genre, like procedural generation, players find themselves staving off humanity’s extinction. Either alone or with friends. Of course, a new launch trailer gives players a glimpse of exactly what they can expect from the game.Â
Remnant II is expanding upon the existing world of the first game. Importantly, this means introducing new threats, new player classes, and of course, customization. The game provides players with a procedurally generated world where they will fight for survival using a combination of melee and ranged weaponry. Additionally, players will also be able to choose between various different classes that fit a variety of playstyles. Whether they are aiming to take enemies out with precision as the Hunter, have a canine companion as the Handler, stick to the shadows as the Invader, or more, there is a class to fit any player.Â
