Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients Announced for PC and Consoles

I’m Going on an Adventure!

You’ve heard it before. A magical world of mystery is yours to explore. There are terrible creatures of darkness encroaching on humanity last bastion of safety. Secrets of an ancient civilization are the key to salvation… except this time it’s pretty cute in Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients.

This game has an interesting style to it. The character you play as, Astor is kind of cute and charming. On the other hand, the enemies we see in the trailer are dark and twisted, and in some cases almost alien.

Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients

Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients has a very diverse set of locations. Throughout the trailer, there are deserts, city-cave systems, ancient temples, and what appears to be a futuristic observatory. The combat looks just as diverse. There is traditional sword combat and other melee weapons, as well as offensive magic abilities.

The details of the actual release are scarce, but it was just announced today, so that’s okay. Developer C2 Game Studio says that it will be coming to PC and consoles in early 2024. We don’t know exactly which consoles they are though. Xbox seems to be interested in the game on Twitter, so that may be good news for Xbox owners.
