The Boys Are Back in Nuketown

We are in between seasons of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys. What better way to relax and rest up than play some Call of Duty? Later this week, you will find some interesting guests from the Seven.

Today, Call of Duty announced new details on Season 4 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 2. Front and center are the characters from The Boys. They include Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir. But in a world of guns and bullets, how can there be superheroes and powers?

With the exception of Ranked Play, all Warzone playlists will have a Field Upgrade called Temp V. This temporarily grants users superhuman abilities. Picking this up will give you either Charge Jump, Electric Shockwave, Laser Vision, or Teleport abilities. Upon pick up, you can activate it whenever you want, but you will lose it upon dying.

There are Operator Bundles for Starlight, Homelander, and Black Noir. Each of them cost 2,400 COD Points and come with an operator skin, unique weapons, and other cosmetics. Starlight comes with an assault rifle, SMG, and side arm. Homelander comes with two assault rifles and an SMG. Black Noir comes with a sniper rifle, assault rifle, and “Noir’s Blades” melee tool.

The above Operator Bundles have staggered releases every four days. Starlight comes out on July 12th, Homelander comes out on July 16th, and Black Noir comes out on July 20th.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
