Battle Royale Naraka: Bladepoint Will Go Free to Play In Mid July

NetEase Games released their action battle royale game, Naraka: Bladepoint, on PC in August 2021. Thereafter, the game was made available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in 2022. Today, the company has announced that the game will officially go free to play and release on PlayStation 5 on July 13th. Interested fans can now wish list the game on the PlayStation Store ahead of its release.

Furthermore, fans that play the game on PlayStation 5 will receive specific benefits. The game’s producer noted, “Everyone on PS5 will receive a Katana skin, a Ryuzan·Frost Reflection, and 2 Immortal Treasures. If you are a PlayStation Plus member, you will also receive more goodies, including 5 more Treasures, a cool exclusive Headwear designed just for PS Plus members, and more.” Moreover, Yongcheng Liu of NetEase Games indicated that the team has optimized the Dualsense Controller to allow for several combos as well as SSD Optimization for higher frame rates and loading speeds.

Moreover, the game is described as a fast-paced, action-packed 60v60 PVP experience where players jump into a unique battle royale arena and master melee combat. Also, in the world of Naraka, two ancient Gods have been involved in a war leading to several wars among mortals. Therefore, there are several heroes for players to use, each one with their own skills and character design. Also, as the game is free to play, a revival is expected!
