The Lord of the Rings: Return To Moria Reveals Gameplay

Into the Dark 

Prepare to enter the Fourth Age of Middle Earth. The War of the Ring is over, yet many things still dwell in the dark places of the world. It’s time to reclaim the Dwarven homeland of Moria. Today, developer Free Range Games and publisher North Beach Games are excited to share the first look at the gameplay of their adventure game, The Lord of the Rings: Return To Moria. Delving into J.R.R Tolkien’s legendary Middle Earth, the game is inviting players to create their own Dwarf and set foot into the famous Mines of Moria. A press release delivers more information on the game. Of course, a new gameplay trailer gives players their first taste of how the game’s world will come to life. 

The Lord of The Rings: Return to Moria

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, mixes survival and adventure games to create a unique experience set in the world of Middle Earth. Making their own Dwarf, players will journey alone or with companions into the mines to survive and reclaim them. Of course, in order to do this players will need to establish a base, hunt, craft weapons and armor, and fend off hordes of orcs in the dark. 

Importantly, players can also discover Dwarven landmarks. For instance, the Bridge of Khazad-dûm. Of course, a great deal is going into the game. Locations, magical artifacts, character creation, and more. Players can get their first glimpse of the game in the gameplay trailer. Furthermore, be sure to listen up for the game, and the trailer is narrated by Gimli Son of Gloin himself: John Rhys-Davies. 

The Lord of The Rings: Return to Moria is set to release for Xbox PlayStation and PC later in 2023.
