Stranded: Alien Dawn Placing Players in The Jungle With Update

Overcome the Jungle

The need for survival is expanding into whole new biomes. Alien worlds far, far, from Earth, are bound to have some strange environments, yet now it is your task to survive them. Welcome to the jungle, baby. Today, Frontier Developments is proud to announce the newest update coming to their survival sim, Stranded: Alien Dawn. The update, titled “The Jungle Update”, is introducing a whole host of new content to the game. Importantly, a press release provides more details on the update.

Stranded-Alien-Dawn

Stranded: Alien Dawn invites players to form a settlement on an alien planet far from Earth. Importantly, every facet of survival falls upon the play. For instance, growing food, developing buildings, researching technology, and more, are all dependent on the player. However, every choice players make will determine their success. Planning the perfect defense is imperative to your settlement’s survival. With the arrival of the Jungle Update will now need to defend themselves from brand new threats in the jungle region of Saltu.

Saltu introduces players to an array of native flora, fauna, and resources. Of course, these new additions also include concepts such as violent thunderstorms to living mists, and other weather conditions that will prove to be challenging. Furthermore, players will be able to manage their bases better than ever. For instance, placing Area Flags will designate areas where survivors can be allocated to live and work within.

Stranded: Alien Dawn is out now on PC via Steam, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4, and Xbox One.
