Treasure-Hunting Bird
We talk a lot about pre-ordering games here, but we don’t often talk about the risks. Remember the Sands of Time Remake? Well, Ubisoft let customers pre-order it, but now it is in development Hell. The new Prince of Persia game, The Lost Crown, can be pre-ordered, but buyer beware.
If you are confident that Ubisoft will really deliver this time, then go right ahead and buy it. The game will cost $50 and the Deluxe Edition will cost just $10 more. The pre-order bonus for either one comes with an outfit that veteran Prince of Persia fans will recognize.
You can get the outfit that the Prince wears in Warrior Within. This was the second game in Ubisoft’s Sands of Time era. The Deluxe Edition comes with another outfit called Immortal. It is safe to say that the different outfits are only cosmetic and bear no impact on gameplay.
Many dangers await Sargon in Mount Qaf.

However, there is another item in the Deluxe Edition that kind of does affect gameplay. Customers also get the Prosperity Bird Amulet. This item can summon a bird that will reveal hidden treasures. We all know how Ubisoft likes their collectibles. It will also come with the Digital Adventure Guide and 3 days of early access.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be coming out on January 17th, 2024. It will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
