Mordhau Officially Hits Console Platforms In Mid July
Triternion is a small team of video game developers that released Mordhau, its action game, on PC via Steam in 2019. Since then, the game has garnered a lot of hype and attention. Triternion has now announced that the game will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on July 12th. The game launched on PC as a result of a successful Kickstarter Campaign in 2017. The company released a trailer along with the major announcement.
The game is described as follows, “Mordhau is a medieval first- and third-person multiplayer slasher. Enter a hectic battlefield of up to 80 players as a mercenary in a fictional, but realistic world, where you will get to experience the brutal and satisfying melee combat that will have you always coming back for more.” Furthermore, from the one-minute trailer, viewers get a look at some of the combat involved in the game. Players will control their characters on a hectic battlefield, filled with melee combat and more.
Additionally, there are several game modes for players to jump into including Frontline and Invasion, so the size of battles can go from small-scale engagements to sixty-four player combat. Moreover, the game offers cooperative and offline play with Horde Modes and AI combat. Besides the visceral and gory combat, players will enjoy the ability to fight anywhere, including ladders, on horses and operating siege weapons.
