Worlds collide and we aren’t really sure why! This week, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty publisher Koei Tecmo teased a puzzling tease. Upcoming Souls-like sensation Lies of P will have “mutual collaboration” with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The demo has been downloaded over one million times across all platforms.
As far as this collaboration goes, there is not much information. All that we are being told is that it is… something. Lies of P is published by Neowiz in South Korea, very separate from Koei Tecmo based in Japan. Though Koei Tecmo is known for working with other studios for other games, like Square Enix and Nintendo.
What these two titles have in common is their shared influence from Souls-like games. While we cannot say for sure what the scope of this collaboration will be, it will likely be a cosmetic bundle or crossover. Maybe we will see a weapon from Lies of P show up in Wo Long or vice versa.

Whatever the case, we will have to wait at least a few more months before we get a better idea of what this is. Lies of P will be coming out on September 19th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
