A World on the BrinkÂ
A new open world to explore is never really a bad thing. Especially when that world promises to be full of beauty and danger. Luckily for gamers, developer 10tons has announced their new RPG survival game, Dysplaced. Aiming to combine elements from RPG, survival, building, and crafting genres, the developers hope to provide players with a unique gameplay experience. A new trailer provides players with their first glimpse of the world of Dysplaced as well as the art style and gameplay.Â
Dysplaced steals players from their ordinary, every day, lives and places them into a magical new world. Importantly this new world is beautiful. Yet it is breaking due to growing darkness. However, if players want to stop this darkness, they will need to survive. Either alone or with a friend in co-op, players will need to construct a campsite, build fortifications, gather resources, and craft weapons. Of course, there are a great many dangers in this world, but also many ways to deal with them. Players can customize their character’s look, playstyle, armor, weapons, and magic as they embark on a mission to save this world.Â
Importantly, gamers are able to get a look at how some of this can be done in the new announcement trailer. Check out the trailer below.Â
Dysplaced is currently in development by 10tons. Currently, it has no release date. Yet, the game will be releasing for PC via Steam. At the moment, gamers can add the game to their wish list.
