Blade Jumper is Changing Platforming Again- Coming to Switch

Up You Go

Sometimes climbing and fighting are one and the same. It may just be more effective this way, especially when an army of dollbots wants to see you fall from great heights. Today, Korean game developer Bit Paradigm and game publisher CFK are happy to announce that their action platformer, Blade Jumper, is jumping to Nintendo Switch within 2023. Introducing players to a dystopian world plagued by depression, and a massive tower where the 1% live their lives happily. Now, players will climb this tower and unravel its mysteries. A press release delves into more details on the game. Furthermore, an official trailer from the game’s PC release provides a look at the platforming action.

Blade Jumper

Blade Jumper introduces players to the year 2030 when most of Seoul is depressed. Dangerously so. Playing as Agent Ray, a member of a vigilante group looking to infiltrate the mysterious Kukuru Tower, players will ascend while robots try to stop them. Interestingly, the game uses a unique mechanic where attacking and moving are the same. Players will slash upwards to climb through the crazy interior of the building. Of course, they will meet resistance from the authoritarian governors of the tower. Yet, as they climb, players will also meet a cast of various characters who will reveal more and more truths about the tower.

Importantly, players can get a better look at the unique platforming gameplay of Blade Jumper in the trailer from last year. Check it out below.

Blade Jumper is currently available for PC via Steam. Additionally, the game is coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in 2023. So, are you prepared to get jumping?
