Shatter the Peace
Step into the beloved world of Runeterra. League of Legends’ famous fantasy realm comes to life once again. This time, players will travel to the mighty kingdom of Demacia and step into the shoes of an escaped mage. Today, Riot Forge is proud to announce the release of their 2-D pixel action game, The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story. Out now on all major platforms, the game introduces players to a new story set in the League universe that provides action packed gameplay. A press release provides more details on the game. The Mageseeker introduces players to Sylas. Set in the kingdom of Demacia that seeks to curtail the use of magics, players will play as Sylas who himself is an escaped mage. Joining a band of rebels Sylas will help break the deceptive peace of the kingdom that is built on the backs of Mages. Of course, the game will follow themes of justice, identity, and power as players battle their way through the kingdom.
Importantly, players will harness Sylas’ unique spell-stealing abilities. With these he will use his hypocritical enemies’ powers against them. Importantly, the new launch trailer gives players a glimpse at the story, art-style, and gameplay of the game. Check out the trailer below.
