It’s time to get the party started. But now you’ve gotta go fast. Today, SEGA is happy to announce that Sonic the Hedgehog is arriving to their vibrant rhythm game, Samba de Amigo: Party Central. That’s right, two iconic songs from the Sonic series are arriving to the game. These songs, “Escape From the City” from Sonic Adventure 2and “Fist Bump” from Sonic Forces, will be available to groove to. A press release provides more details on the game, as well as the Sonic songs’ arrival.
Samba de Amigo: Party Central invites players to the biggest party of the year. Through various mini-games and challenges players can show off their rhythm. Of course, players will be able to groove to over 40 hit-songs from a multitude of genres. Additionally, more songs will be added with post-launch DLC. Furthermore, players will be able to show off their very own style by customizing their character with costumes, accessories, and more.
Of course, the addition of two Sonic the Hedgehog songs is a welcome addition. Importantly, these songs can’t arrive without their own stage. The stage itself is based on City Escape from Sonic Adventures 2 and will feature iconic scenery. Additionally, players will also be able to see Sonic himself as he dances alongside the players. You can check out an image of the stage below.
Samba de Amigo: Part Central is releasing in the Summer of 2023 on the Nintendo Switch. Players can get more information from the game on the game’s website. Additionally, fans can also pre-order the game on the website.
