Forspoken’s Upcoming DLC Will Officially Release In Late May
Luminous Productions and Square Enix released Forspoken, an action RPG, on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in early 2023. Today, the companies have announced that the game’s first DLC, In Tanta We Trust, will release on the platforms on May 26th, 2023. It is a story-focused DLC which will introduce new chapters for Frey Holland to explore in the world of Athia. Moreover, players that purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game will receive early access to the story DLC from May 23rd, 2023.
Also, Square Enix describes the DLC as follows, “players will battle alongside Tanta Cinta using Frey’s newfound magical ability to unlock new combat strategies and coordinate devastating attack combos against the invading Rheddig forces. Scale to new heights in unique, vertically-designed environments with Frey’s honed magic-enhanced parkour skills. “
Furthermore, in the game, players as Frey Holland must escape after finding themselves trapped in the breathtaking and wondrous land of Athia. Frey will soon discover a magical and mythical bracelet, which grants powers that can be used to traverse the area. Beyond that, players will enjoy a sprawling and cruel open-world as well as an arsenal of spells, each with their own uses and purpose Unfortunately, despite Forspoken’s hype, the game was poorly received by fans for various reasons. Fans remain hopeful that the DLC can improve the game and provide a more enjoyable experience.
