A Roguelike Tomb Raider?Â
Prepare to step into the legendary shoes of iconic hero Lara Croft. This time a whole new adventure is waiting. In a completely different format. Today, CDE Entertainment is excited to announce that pre-registrations for their mobile roguelike Tomb Raider: Reloaded, are starting today ahead of its release. Releasing to iOS and Android on February 14th, the game is acts as the first roguelike Tomb Raider. A press release delves into all the entombed details of the game. Additionally, a new registration trailer gives players a look at the art style of the game.Â
Tomb Raider: Reloaded reintroduces players to Lara Croft. This time she is on an action-packed adventure to obtain the ancient Scion artifact. Importantly, players will be facing against rooms of ever-changing enemies and hazards. Of course, Lara is arriving with a whole lot in her arsenal. From craftable weapons, to abilities, and iconic outfits. As players adventure they’ll acquire run-specific boosts as well as more permanent rewards. For instance runes that improve Lara’s overall stats, or manuals that unlock or upgrade outfits can all be found during runs.Â
Despite being a the first roguelike entry in the series, Tomb Raider: Reloaded includes several recognizable locations such as the City of Vilcabamba, the Lost Valley, and St. Francis’ Folly. Importantly players can also look forward to Keeley Hawes  (Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris) once again reprising her role as Lara Croft. Pre-registrations for Tomb Raider: Reloaded are available today. Of course, players who pre-register will receive a reward in the form of Lara Croft’s iconic pistols in gold. The game releases February 14th on iOS and Android.
