Studio Sai’s Eternights Has Been Delayed Until Summer

Studio Sai is an independent video game developer that has been working on a social dating game, Eternights for some time. The game was announced in 2022 and since then, the team has been hard at work on its release. Unfortunately, the developer has announced that the game will now release in Summer 2023. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam. Studio Sai’s founder Jae Yoo shared some reasons for the game’s delay.

Via the PlayStation Blog, Jae Yoo explained that since the game’s reveal in 2022, the team has made numerous and countless changes. Some of these changes took longer than expected, leading to the delay. Furthermore, the developers plan to announce even more content for the game such as Japanese and Korean voices for players to experience the game in their own language. It is clear that the team is hard at work on the title and providing the best experience possible.

Eternights is described as a unique blend of dating and action as players explore a unique post-apocalyptic world filled with danger, love and adventure. Thus far, the developers have made gameplay and UI improvements and improved the combat system. The game’s combat system is fast-paced with various options including Elemental Attacks, Perfect Dodges, Parries, Special Skills and Confident Combat Skills. Moreover, in the Spring Update trailer, viewers get a great look at the game at this stage.
