Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass Wave 1 Set For Release In Spring This Year
At Nintendo Direct, the company took the opportunity to unveil some of its biggest titles and content coming for the upcoming year. Some announcements included a new trailer for Legends of Zelda, Fire Emblem: Engage content and Metroid Prime: Remastered. The company also announced that Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass Wave 1 will release in spring this year, followed thereafter by Wave 2. The game is currently available on Nintendo Switch via the eShop. The company released a cool trailer showing off the expansion pass.
The company announced that the paid DLC content for the game will release in two waves from spring, 2023. The first wave includes Inkopolis, from the original game, as well as the Inkopolis Plaza that now has a few more shopkeepers than before. Moreover, in the second wave, players will get their hands on Side Order, a new single-player campaign and an updated Inkopolis Square, which comes from the second title. Moreover, players will be able to access a content pack that contains bonus in-game items after purchasing the Expansion Pass.
In the Expansion Pass trailer, viewers are given an extensive look at some of the upcoming content through Side Order and Inkopolis. In the game, players will hop into intense 4v4 combat with style and attitude as they use ink to cover the area and win matches. There is also a ton of customizable content to unlock and make each character unique.
