Ravenbound invites players to join a world based on Scandinavian folklore. Stepping into the shoes of a being known as The Vessel, players wield the power of a weapon known as the Raven.  The Raven is a creation of the ancient gods to destroy the darkness that fills the world. Importantly, the game is a roguelite. Your failure is almost inevitable. However, this is a part of the process. Each failure will return you to the world with new insights and greater powers to take on the darkness. Additionally, each death and exploring the vast world before you will give you access to new upgrade cards. These cards, will provide you with new weapons and abilities.

Of course, the new release date trailer gives players a look at exactly what awaits them in the world of Ravenbound. From gameplay, to art style, and even some of the powers, the trailer shows it all. Check it out below.
