Love Is a Battlefield
Everyone likes a game with attractive, likeable, and desirable characters. Overwatch 2 has a bunch of those. I’m not just saying that because of all the fan-made Rule 34, cosplays, and animations floating around the internet. The game’s expanding roster of heroes is perfect for a dating sim. Fans will be able to get a small taste of what that would be like.
Similar to Dead by Daylight’s Hooked on You, Blizzard is making a short dating sim starring two of Overwatch 2’s most popular characters. Mercy and Genji are the two apples of your eyes, which you can choose between.
Between February 13th and 28th, you can go to loverwatch.gg for this lovely experience. Players will be aided by Cupid, who looks a lot like Hanzo, as they woo their date. If you unlock the secret ending, you will get a Play of the Game highlight.

Each playthrough of Loverwatch takes about 30 mins, so you can try both paths. Unfortunately, Mercy and Genji are the only options from Overwatch 2 you pursue romantically. We all know that there are some pretty cute heroes to date. I’m looking at you, Roadhog.
This is not the only way that Blizzard is celebrating Valentine’s Day. There is also a 4v4 Hanzo limited-time event and a… One-Punch Man crossover? Everyone loves a good fisting, I guess.
Overwatch 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Season 3 begins on February 7th.
