New World Upcoming Update Introduces Major Changes And Roadmap
Amazon Games is a major video game studio that has been involved in the release of Lost Ark Online and most recently, New World. New World is a fantasy MMORPG that launched in late 2021. Since its release, the developers have poured content into the game and its February update is no different. Besides the update for February, the developers revealed more details and plans for 2023 including a roadmap.
Firstly, players will receive more content during the season including regular updates, a wider variety of content and additional activities. Secondly, players can expect more changes to PVP including new 3v3 Arenas Map, territoriy influence changes, cross-world outpost rush and further track reward updates. Thirdly, players will experience equipment load balance in Season 1 which will allow for experimentation with unique styles and off-meta builds. There will be a lot of other balance changes to look forward to such as making the Musket, Hatchet and Greatsword less viable in PVP.
Furthermore, the developers have unveiled a Roadmap for 2023 which showcases its upcoming plans through Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Thus far, the key pieces of content including the game’s first expansion, Seasonal Trials, Seasonal Trinkets and Main Story Quest updates. In the game, players enter a thrilling, open world on the island of Aeternum where they must carve their own destiny using power and more. The game offers a ton of exploration options and more.
