New DLC for Fire Emblem Engage Announced

More Engagements

Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct bore sweet fruit. There was no announcement for Wind Waker on Switch, so I am forever wounded, but there was some good stuff. We saw more of Tears of the Kingdom, the announcement of Pikmin 4, as well as the shadow drop of Metroid Prime Remastered. Players of Fire Emblem Engage also have some news to feast on.

The Expansion Pass for the game was released on the launch day. The first wave included bonus Emblem characters, support items, and accessories. Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct highlighted the big-ticket items for Waves 2-4, which will be coming out over the course of the year.

Fire Emblem Engage Review

Wave 2, which was also released upon announcement, adds three new Emblem characters. Veterans of the series will recognize these heroes; Hector, Soren, and Camilla. The Expansion Pass section for Fire Emblem Engage has not yet been updated on Nintendo online store, but there are also accessories in this wave of content.

Veronica will be added, as well as Chrom and Robin, in Wave 3. Chrom and Robin appear to be a dual-Emblem character. Wave 4 will add a new story arc to Fire Emblem Engage, called the Fell Xenologue. No details regarding new characters in Wave 4 have been revealed.

Fire Emblem Engage is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
