Call of Duty Warzone’s Season 2 Introduces Ashika Island and Much More

Call of Duty Warzone soared to the top since its release in March 2020, and in November 2022, the game’s sequel, Warzone 2.0 released. Since then, Activision-Blizzard have been working on content and changes for the game based on community feedback. The developers have officially released Warzone 2.0 Season 02 for the game. It is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms for free today.

Players will finally jump back into the beloved Resurgence mode. The fan favorite mode returns with a brand new map, Ashika Island, which features brand new points of interest and a ton of places to fight. Furthermore, players will be able to engage in close quarters combat, return to battle through respawns and enjoy fast-paced gameplay. Ashika Island is described as a small-scale map filled with rooftops and underwater caverns that allow for crafty and quick gameplay.

Additionally, players can get their hands on new weapons such as the Crossbow, IsoHemlock, KV Broadside and Tempus Torrent. Moreover, in 2022, the team released a DMZ mode for the game. In Season 02, players can expect cool and exciting new content for the DMZ mode such as a new boss, weapons case and the Bombmaker. Activision-Blizzard along with the game’s developers have made fantastic changes to the game which fans have been waiting for.
