Ubisoft Address Skull And Bones Delay and Other Concerns In Statement
Ubisoft is a major video game developer and publisher. The company has been involved in the release of titles such as Assassin’s Creed, The Division, Mario + Rabbids: Spark of Hope and For Honor. However, the company was recently embroiled is some unfortunate drama. Today, they have officially released a statement relating to the game, which discusses the delay and other information.
Via its release, Ubisoft stated, “Our determination and focus remain the same- offer the best in-game experience possible to our players from Day 1. The extra time will help us in providing further polish and balancing to our game experience, following feedback from previous tests.” In the release, the team goes on to explain that they have new, exciting gameplay footage and details to share. Moreover, the company will confirm the game’s release date as well as upcoming test phases soon.
In Skull and Bones, players jump into a perilous world on the ocean as they fight to rise from a mere outcast to a pirate. The game will be available on PlayStation, PC and Xbox platforms and was initially carded for March 9th, 2023. Unfortunately, developers have been delaying their games over the past two years, primarily due to the impact of the pandemic on video game development. Players have had mixed reactions to delays, but generally delaying a video game to improve it is a great idea.
