Thea Trinidad Will Be Part of Street Fighter 6’s Commentary Feature

Street Fighter is one of the most iconic franchises in video game history. Street Fighter 5 released in 2016, and Capcom is preparing for the release of Street Fighter 6. Ahead of its release, the team has announced that Thea Trinidad, a WWE star, has joined the game’s real-time commentary feature. The game will release on June 2nd on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The real-time commentary feature uses voices of commentators directly in the game to narrate what is happening on-screen. In response to the announcement, Thea Trinidad stated, “I’ve been an avid gamer since I was a child and a huge fan of Street Fighter…It’s surreal to now be a part of this amazing franchise and I am honored and thankful for this once in a lifetime opportunity.” Thea Trinidad, also known as Zelina Vega, is an avid video game player and long-time fan of the franchise. Furthermore, at WWE’s Royal Rumble in Texas, the superstar the star modelled her ring gear as Juri.

Furthermore, players will enjoy the feature as subtitles in thirteen languages for increased accessibility and excitement. Additionally, there are other commentators to look forward to in the game including Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez, Ryutaro “Aru” Noda, Kosuke Hiraiwa, and Steve “TastySteve” Scott. Street Fighter 6 is set to be a major release of the year!
