New My Time at Sandrock Multiplayer Open Beta Starts Next Week

OUR Time at Sandrock

Pathea Games is expanding their My Time Universe with My Time at Sandrock. This game is their follow-up to the casual, yet deep life-sim My Time at Portia. Sandrock is in early access right now, but it is already on track to be bigger than Portia.

In the waning days of 2022, Pathea Games announced the window of opportunity for players to join the multiplayer playtest. Starting next week, My Time at Sandrock players can start a game of up to four builders. Together, players can build, collect resources, challenge themselves in the dungeons, and complete quests.

The multiplayer mode is entirely separate from the single player portion. It is set before the events of My Time at Sandrock, in a “meta area world”. Players will be able to experience moments of historical significance in Sandrock’s past.

Pathea Games is hoping that multiplayer will go into early access sometime in early 2023. However, because this is an open playtest, multiplayer progress made during this time will not carry over afterward. To offset this loss of progress, there will be multiplayer events that will unlock rewards for early access.

This multiplayer open playtest begins on January 12th and runs until January 20th. If you have some hard workers and talented builders in your circle of friends, that would be the time to check it out.

My Time at Sandrock is available on Steam early access on PC. It is expected to release fully on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch this summer.
