Capcom is set to release Monster Hunter Rise on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC on January 20th. The game, along with its expansion, is currently available on the Nintendo Switch. Ahead of the release, the developers have given some details on the game’s features.
Firstly, the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions are bundled, so players do not need to purchase the software twice to play on either platform. Secondly, players will be able to transfer save data between PlayStation platforms. Furthermore, players will be able to transfer save data between Xbox platforms and PC. Unfortunately, the company has limited the cross-save features and options to this extent, meaning there is no compatibility for the Nintendo Switch.
Thirdly, players on Xbox platforms will enjoy a wide range of resolutions while those on PC are only limited by their specifications. In Monster Hunter Rise, players head to the Kamura Village, which is filled with lush ecosystems and of course, fearsome enemies and monsters.
