Made a Long Title Even Longer
Typhoon Studio and 505 Games are coming out with a new edition of 2020’s Journey to the Savage Planet. Employee of the Month Edition, making my article title longer than acceptable, also adds the game’s DLC. 505 Games announced earlier today that it will come out in February.
If you haven’t played this game, it is a planet exploration game. Players encounter all sorts of flora and fauna, both docile and hostile. You can unlock gadgets like a jet pack and grappling hooks, as well as weapons like lasers and grenades. There is also the option to explore your planet with a friend in co-op.
The Hot Garbage DLC is included in the Employee of the Month Edition. This expansion adds a new area, new upgrades, and new abilities, which can be brought back to the main portion of the game.

Here’s the really cool part of this edition. If you already have Journey to the Savage Planet on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, you can upgrade for free. Even if you don’t have the Hot Garbage DLC, you can upgrade. All you have to do is find the Employee of the Month Edition in whichever online store you visit and download it for free.
Journey to the Savage Planet is available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The Employee of the Month Edition will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on February 14th.
