Save the DodosÂ
It’s up to you to save an entire race of dodo birds from extinction. Welcome to a new kind of platformer. Today Developer Orchid of Redemption and publisher Lamplight Forest are happy to announce the release date for their platforming puzzle game, Joon Shining. Releasing on February 17th, the game combines golf mechanics and physics bending magic. A press release provides more details on the game. Joon Shining introduces players to Joon. A young sorcerer on an adventure throughout the multiverse. As players advance through eight unique worlds they will face mind bending puzzles, and various challenges, tat they must solve to advance. Of course she is undergoing the adventure to save an entire species of dodo bird from going extinct. Using a ball and magical powers Joon must solve puzzles to advance through the different worlds. For instance, Joon can break up the stop and hit formula of golf with her telekinesis. Influence her shots by burning away obstacles, making magical rings to help the ball fly, or even grow plants into new shapes to help the ball along its path. Of course, every environment you visit will have new ways for Joon to use it. You’ll just need to discover them all.Â

Joon Shining is leaving Early Access for full release on February 17th, 2023. It will be available on PC via Steam.Â
