It’s time to get a closer look at a world of fear and monsters. Get a deeper glimpse at what comes alive in the forest at night. Today Elf Games and Luna2 Studio, as well as, Daedalic Entertainment are bringing players a behind the scenes look at their upcoming adventure game, Children of Silentown. In a new “Making of” video, players get a look at how the idea for the game came together, what it started as, and how it ended up. Additionally, a press release dives into the game itself by providing more details on the title.
Children of Silentown introduces players to Lucy. Growing up in a secluded village full of monsters, Lucy has been haunted by horrific nightmares. But why? As night falls, it is up to Lucy to discover the secrets surrounding her town and herself. During the day players are able to spend time with Lucy’s friends and mother exploring the town. However, night time brings about true horror. The darkness brings evil, and danger. She must never step foot in the forest. However, after a tragedy befalls her town she has no choice.
The new “making of” video provides details on how Children of Silentown came together. Originally beginning as an animated short film, players get to see its journey into a fully fledged game. Importantly, the game was put together by just a small group in the hours they could spare. Of course, you can take a look at the video below.
Children of Silentown is releasing on January 11th, 2023. It will be available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. So, are you ready to explore the town? Be ready for nightfall.
