Prepare to Enter the Floodland
It’s time to experience the world the Climate Change apocalypse has left behind. From the swamp-up it’s time to build the world anew. Today Vile Monarch and Ravenscourt are excited to invite a closer look at their upcoming survival city-builder, Floodland. Releasing on November 15th, the game is bringing players to a unique setting for a city-builder. A press release provides more info on the game. Floodland introduces players to a world ruined by man-made climate change. Players begin their journey on the very outskirts of a ruined city. Leading a small group of nomads players will develop their city from a swamp camp into a thriving town. From relearning basic agriculture, to developing new technologies it will be up to you to lead your people out of darkness. Of course, to do this, you will need the resources to build new buildings and transform old ones into structures of use.Â
Importantly, building a society does not come without issues. The atmosphere of the world is very different, both literally and metaphorically. Of course, players can experience just how much has changed by checking out the new intro trailer for the game. See it below.Â
