Darkness and Secrecy
Welcome back to Revolutionary France. Only darker, and with more robots. Now, you will face off against a host of new challenges, featuring one of the King’s Agents. Today developer Spiders and publisher NACON unveiled the first DLC for alternate history action RPG, Steelrising. A press release provides more info on the upcoming DLC.
Steelrising introduces players to Aegis. An automaton dancer turned warrior and bodyguard for Marie Antoinette. Of course, Aegis is wrapped up in the political, social, and combat, implications of the French Revolution. However, this is a French Revolution French Revolution where King Louise XVI had an army of automatons to stomp out those who resist his rule. Now, under the Queens orders, Aegis will navigate the ruined streets of Paris. Where each battle is a challenge and player skills are put to the test.
In the new DLC, Cagliostro’s Secrets, players will hunt down the secrets behind the power of the King’s Automatons. Additionally, you won’t be without challenge. Players will need to face off against the King’s Agent: the Comte de Cagliostro. Furthermore, players must outwit Cagliostro’s Mesmer-inspired machinery while they unlock new weapons and outfits. Of course, players must make it to a certain part of the base game completing the mission Bastille. Importantly, after players complete the mission, the DLC will unlock for them.
Steelrising is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Additionally the base game costs $56.99. So, are you ready for your next Revolutionary challenge?
