Poppy Playtime Sequel Project: Playtime Coming Out This Winter

Play with a Friend

This past year, Poppy Playtime has crept into the game libraries of every horror fan. It’s got the cutesy, cuddly toys juxtaposed with deadly, creepy monsters thing down. It’s success has fans desiring more from MOB Games and they have answered with Project: Playtime.

Earlier today, and very topically, MOB Games announced the sequel to Popply Playtime. Project: Playtime will be a co-op game. Like the first game, it will be free to play. MOB Games says that they have been working on the game for the past six months. Perhaps best of all, fans won’t have to wait very long to play it.

Project: Playtime

Project: Playtime is projected to come out before the end of the year. We have not been given an exact date, but it is slated for a December 2022 release. And to think, just one year ago we were first figuring out what Poppy Playtime is. When the game gets a Steam page available, we will more than likely have a confirmed release date.

The upcoming game is a sequel, so we can glean that it a puzzle game with a story, much like Poppy Playtime. Though it would be interesting to see what competitive or other multiplayer mode could come from this.

Project: Playtime will be available in December for PC.
