A Studio With Vision
The announcement of a new studio is always an exciting time in the gaming world. Especially a studio with a vision of emotionally engaging games. Today Jeff Strain, the co-founder of ArenaNet, is happy to publicly announce the launch of Crop Circle Games. The second announced studio under Strain’s Prytania Media, Crop Circle Games, is aiming to deliver quality narrative driven games. A press release about the launch of the studio provides more info.
Headed by Studio Director Jessica Brunelle, Crop Circle Games features a whole crew of veteran talent. Of course, this talent even extends to the leadership team. For instance, the studio features Creative Director Doug Williams, Art Director Ocala Scott-Bellows, Design Director Nick Mhley, Tech Director Braeden Shosa, and Narrative Director Josh Scherr, the team is experienced and determined.
Importantly, Crop Circle Games’ team has a record around developing emotionally engaging narratives. These games tend to focus on hope humor and human empowerment. Strain gave his comments on the types of games the studio will be focusing on in development.

In addition to the announcement of Crop Circle Games, Strain had another. So, excitingly the Studio is has the support of the Transcend Fund and other strategic partners. Of course, the funding is adding up to $25 million in investments. Importantly, this will allow the studio the funding it needs to function.
Of course, Crop Circle Games is looking to meet the growing demand of innovative games. Importantly, the studio is able to begin developing their first title, which Strain is sure will be intriguing yet unconventional.
