Stellaris Unveils New Species Pack: Toxoids

Prepare to Get Toxic 

The universe is about to get a little more toxic than it was. Prepare for an all new kind of unpleasant. Today developer Paradox Interactive is happy to announce the newest species pack for their grand strategy game, Stellaris. Bringing a whole new kind of unpleasant to the galaxy the newest species pack, Toxoids, is bringing plenty of new content to the game. A press release provides more details about the pack. Additionally, an announcement trailer gives players a glimpse of what they can expect.

Stellaris places players in command of their own intergalactic empire. Of course this means that players will control everything. From the military, to the economy, planets and more. Additionally, this even means that players will be able to influence laws, as well as, other ways to run their empire. Now, there is even more methods to building your intergalactic empire. 

The Toxoids expansion pack introduces a whole new type of species to play as with new ways to play. The toxoid species can grow and adapt faster than most, but tend to make life unpleasant for their neighbors and often for themselves. Players will become the knights of a toxic god yet that’s not all. Players can look forward to new civics, scavengers, new industry factions, and of course, new traits. Players can get a glimpse of this new species in the pack announcement trailer. 

 

The Toxoids Species pack will launch on September 20th, for Stellaris on PC. Stellaris is available on Steam. So, are you ready to bring some toxicity?
