Mario Strikers: Battle League Update Introduces New Characters And More
Nintendo is one of the biggest video game companies in the world. Nintendo, along with Next Level Games, recently released Mario Strikers: Battle League on the Nintendo Switch. Today, the companies have released a major content update for the game, Version 1.2.0. In the update, players will get their hands on new playable characters, stadium, gear set and other quality of life improvements. Interested fans can purchase the game on the Switch here for $59.99USD.
Fans can look forward to Pauline and the famous Diddy Kong as new playable characters. In the trailer for the update, viewers get to see both characters in action as well as their skills and attributes. Furthermore, players can venture to the Planetoid stadium and get their hands on the Barrel gear set. Besides that, the developers have introduced new content and features to the Striker Rankings and Strikers Club.
In terms of quality of life improvements, fans can look forward to a change to the match-making system, game balance fixes, bug fixes and more.
Furthermore, in the game, players jump into an action-packed game of football where they engage in 5v5 gameplay with their favorite Nintendo characters. Players can use items, tackle their enemies and score using Hyper Strikes for a bit of extra luck. Additionally, some stars of the strike include Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Toad and Bowser. Each character has its unique traits and qualities to be used on the field.
