Dakar Desert Rally’s Newest Trailer Shows Off Old School Vehicles
Saber Interactive is a major video game publisher that was involved in the release of various titles such as World War Z, Evil Dead: The Game and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines. In mid August, the company announced that Dakar Desert Rally, its unique racing game, will be releasing in October. Today, the team has released a new trailer showing off some classic cars from the 80s. Interested fans can get the game from October on PC via Steam and Epic, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
In the trailer, fans were given a cool, first look at the DAF Truck Turbo-Twin and Ari Vatanen’s Peugeot 405 Turbo 16. Interested players can get their hands on both vehicles from day one if they purchase the game’s deluxe edition. The trailer commences with a retro theme before shifting to 2022 where viewers see both cars racing through the desert in all their glory. Fans can pre-order the deluxe edition here.
Furthermore, players will be able to have fun on over thirty rally tracks with licensed vehicles, teams and pilots and enjoy single-player and online multiplayer modes. Moreover, the developers have introduced an immense open world filled with action as well as seasons and elements. Players will find themselves working against sandstorms, desert sunlight, rain, snow and deep mud. The competition in the desert is rough, but the best drivers can work past them!
