A Paper RPG
Prepare to enter a ghost town. No literally. Today indie developer Conradical Games is excited to announce the release date for their upcoming narrative RPG, The Outbound Ghost. A press release provides more details about this paper RPG. Additionally, the PC release date trailer gives players a glimpse at what they can expect from the game.
The Outbound Ghost introduces players to the literal ghost town of Outbound. In a narrative adventure that combines turn-based combat, crafting, and exploration, players will help the residents of the town. Of course, as the residents are ghosts players will help them resolve their earthly burdens so that they can pass on to the other side. However, this will be easier said than done.
Players will need to battle the past and uncover the mysteries surrounding Outbound to help the ghosts. Importantly as players adventure they will gain new abilities, solve puzzles, and free spirits from their earthly binds. As players explore they will uncover more and more about the tragic past of the town. Additionally, they may even figure out why all of these ghosts are trapped here.
Of course, players can get a look at the gameplay and story of The Outbound Ghost in the new trailer. Furthermore, the trailer also shows off the art style of the game.
The Outbound Ghost is launching on September 21st, 2022. It will be available for PC via Steam. Digital versions will launch on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
