August Has Brought New Things to Skul
It’s time to rejoin everyone’s favorite little skeleton hero killer. Yesterday NEOWIZ’s hit action hack-and-slash roguelike, Skul: The Hero Slayer, introduced a new content update. A press release provides more details about the update and all it is bringing to the game. There is quite a bit to dive into.
Skul: The Hero Slayer is an action platformer that places players in the role of Skul. Skul is a little skeleton warrior with a special ability. Of course this power has to do with wearing skulls. Switching skulls grants him new powers, and wearing two at once allows for devastating combos. As the player progresses through the game they will find which skulls fit their playstyle the best.
As of yesterday there are even more skulls to try out. The content update has brought 2 new skulls and 3 new items to the game. Importantly the new skulls add even more ways to play. The skulls in question are the wizard and Davy Jones skulls. Alongside the three new items, players will really be able to discover a whole new way to make their runs unique. In addition to these new items and skulls, various gameplay changes have been made as well. These changes range from skill balances to boss resistance changes.
